Roy is the founder of the original ministry programs in 1996 under the umbrella of the First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia. In June of 2004, he was the founding incorporator of The HopeQuest Ministry Group, Inc. when ministry programs were split off from the church. Roy continues to provide executive leadership for the Pastoral Counseling Ministries at First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia. In addition, he serves The HopeQuest Ministry Group, Inc. providing executive leadership for the Board of Directors in fundraising and in setting vision, goals, and objectives for the organization. Roy’s desire is to continue providing leadership and direction to the organization as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and relinquishing the Executive Director role at the appropriate time in the growth phase of the organization.
