AACC is committed to assisting Christian counselors, the entire ‘community of care,’ licensed professionals, pastors, and lay church members with little or no formal training. It is our intention to equip clinical, pastoral, and lay care-givers with biblical truth and psychosocial insights that minister to hurting persons and helps them move to personal wholeness, interpersonal competence, mental stability, and spiritual maturity.

 

The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Certification Board of Georgia, Inc., is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit body. This board was formed in 1992 to offer certification th Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors and to supercisors in alcohol and drug counseling and is based on the standards and methods offered by the international Certification and Reciprocity Consortium/Alcohol and other Durg Abuse, a multi-state and nation body organized to promtie uniform professional standers and quality for the substance abuse counseling profession and to give the profession greater visibility in the U.S. and abroad.

 

American Board of Christian Sex Therapists believes that as the Church works to develop a healthy theology of sex, there is an increased need for recognizing those who have been specifically trained to provide sex therapy from a Christian prespective. Toward this end, Sexual Wholeness, Inc. has sponsored the development of the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists.

The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy is the professional association for the field of marriage and family therapy. They represent the professional interests of more than 24,000 marriage and family therapists throughout the United States, Canada, and abroad.

 

American Association of Certified Christian Sex Addiction Specialists is committed to trauma-model therapy from a Christian perpective of sexual addiction and compulsivity. AACCSAS believes that clinically trained Christian counselors who observe the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct can provide the best available resources for people suffering from sexual addiction and co-addiction.

 

International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium is the largest credentialing organiztion in the world.

 

National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality is a professional, scientific organization that offers hope to those who struggle with unwanted homosexuality. NARTH disseminate educational information, conduct and collect scientific research, promote effective therapeutic treatment, and provide referrals to those who seek our assistance.

 

The National Association of Recovery Residences promotes a recovery-oriented continuum of care for those with substance use disorders by credentialing recovery residences that implement empirically-based recovery principles and practivce standards.

 

Georgia Association of Recovery Residences was founded in 1987 out of the need to evaluate and monitor quality of care in the rapidly grouing field of addiction recovery related services in the state of Georgia. GARR was the first association to develop and maintain a standards system for recovery residence programs in the state.

 

Exodus International is mobilizing the body of Christ to minister grace and truth to a world impacted by homosexuality.

 

Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is an active, viable organization serving more than 1,050 members through professional and personal development opportunities while promoting a strong, vigorous economic climate in Cherokee County

 

NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, represents the professional interests of more than 75,000 addiction counselors, educators and other addiction-focused health care professionals in the United States, Canada and abroad. NAADAC’s members are addiction counselors, educators and other addiction-focused health care professionals, who specialize in addiction prevention, treatment, recovery support and education. An important part of the healthcare continuum, NAADAC members and its 44 state affiliates work to create
healthier individuals, families and communities through prevention, intervention, quality treatment and recovery support.

 

NCAD is the premier conference showcasing new ideas and innovations in the fields of recovery and prevention, as well as addressing treatment, administration, finance, technology,
and medical issues.

 

NAATP’s mission is to provide leadership, advocacy, training and other member support services to assure the continued availability and highest quality of addiction treatment.

 

The Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA) is a non-profit association dedicated to high standards for professionals who provide addiction counseling. Established in 1980 to provide a statewide association of addiction counselors and other persons interested in addiction, GACA is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors elected by its membership and a volunteer Certification Board appointed by the Directors with the sole purpose of carrying out the mission of the Association. Our express concern was, and remains, the welfare of persons who are chemically dependent or abusing mood-altering chemicals in the state of Georgia.

A New Testament church of the  Lord Jesus Christ is a local body of baptized believers who are  associated by their common faith and fellowship with Jesus. A local  church is to observe the two ordinances: (1) baptism and (2) the Lord’s  Supper. The church should exercise their God-given gifts and extend the  gospel to the ends of the earth. The church is an autonomous body  serving under the Lordship of Christ. All members are equally responsible as they serve with the scriptural officers of the church, the pastors and deacons.
