“Walking Free” Sexual Brokenness Support

In a time when the incidence of sexual addiction is increasing at an alarming rate across the nation, HopeQuest is reaching out to those seeking freedom in this area. Like substance abuse, sexual addiction is devastating to families. Men and women disconnect from reality to pursue the illusion of love and acceptance they find through pornography (in all of its forms), anonymous sexual encounters, and multiple affairs. The problem has reached epidemic proportions due to increased access through the internet, a fact evidenced by the growth of the “Walking Free” support group. Since its inception the group has more than quadrupled in size, with over 200 men regularly involved. Individuals seeking to join the group are interviewed and evaluated in an initial intake counseling session. The goals of the “Walking Free” support group include eradicating life-dominating sin patterns, establishing guiding foundations of truth, and encouraging life-changing relationships of love and trust in the lives of group members. The group meets once a week and utilizes both large and small group settings for ministry.
